How does the Spikey™ work?

Is the Spikey™ a weapon and/or is it illegal to carry?
No it is not classified as a weapon and may be carried as a keychain attachment. It has cleared TSA at both U.S and International airports in carry on handbags, but, is subject to the local screeners discretion. Recommend placing in checked bags to be on the safe side.
